Beppu Nagomitsuki Hotel

I had a fantastic stay! The private onsen was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to help. Our room was spacious and clean, making it super comfortable. Just a heads up-there's no lift for the second floor, but the staff happily assisted with luggage.

The location was particularly good, for example, Piazza del Duomo was not too far from the hotel. Enjoyed that it was a short walk to a train station. The room we had included central heating, a work desk, and TV. A bidet was clean and everything was perfect: D

Wow, what a way to ring in the New Year! The traditional ryokan experience was magical, especially the fine kaiseki dinners that felt like a feast for the senses. The private onsen was a dream, providing such relaxation after days of exploration. The location felt peaceful and cozy, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating, making sure our stay was nice!

There were a couple of hiccups. The cleanliness could definitely have been better; we dealt with a clogged sink upon arrival that took a bit too long to fix. make sure to double-check breakfast options— we ended up with Western food on our first morning instead of the Japanese style we were hoping for. But overall, it was still a lovely stay!

my room was reasonably spacious, had smoke detectors for safety measures. the location was favourable for traveling around beppu, adjacent to restaurants nearby, and other public transport. i randomly popped in dig coffee serving some pastries, located around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel, it was nice. enjoyed my stay in beppu, and 100% recommend it.

we had an amazing experience at nagomitsuki. the customer service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us. the seasonal pear wine was a good surprise, and our room was authentic, featuring a private bath that added a wonderful touch to our stay. dining was a highlight, with beautifully presented meals that were delicious and exceeded our expectations, especially on the second day.

No complaints! just a tiny regret for not mentioning dietary preferences.

Make sure to get twin room with bath tub...

The location is convenient, just a 15-minute drive from attractions like Kamado Jigoku and Hyotan Onsen. While the room was clean and well-staffed, it felt a bit small for our family with luggage. The private onsen was a highlight, perfect for relaxation. Although dining options nearby were limited and the room lighting dim, the attentive staff made our experience enjoyable, especially with helping us manage our luggage.
